A customer recently turned me onto the Common Craft videos. Common Craft creates short, low-tech training videos on common head-scratchers that get right to the point — and they're very well done. I wouldn't mention them here, except that their "Wikis in Plain English" video is the most succinct, accurate, informative and entertaining explanation of wiki technology I've ever seen.
Reading their blog, I'm also a fan of their business ethos: keep it simple, keep it small. It's refreshing to see another Internet company out there just doing what they love doing for the sake of doing it — and putting protection of that environment at the forefront of their business strategy.
So if you're the lucky one trying to get a wiki established within a group that doesn't know a wiki from a blog, consider hitting up Common Craft for help. The embedded video above is a low-quality sample - they offer affordable licensing for higher-quality unbranded versions of these videos suitable for business or presentation use.
