Subject: New EditMe Features
This message is to inform you of some exciting new features at EditMe.
== EditMe Tools Menu ==
The links that used to appear at the bottom of your EditMe menu and at the
bottom of every page have been moved to one convenient toolbar in the upper
right-hand corner of the screen. You can click to show or hide the toolbar while
you're browsing.
== Blog Comments ==
EditMe sites can now receive blog-style comments from readers. Rich text
comments can be appended to any page of your site. Log into your site and click
Preferences to make sure you've opted in for email notification of comment
postings. If you don't want to allow readers to post comments, go to
Settings->Page Security. You can turn the feature off, or limit it to Registered
Users.
== Email Notifications ==
Now you can receive an email telling you what has changed at your EditMe site.
Log into your site and click Preferences. Choose every 2 hours, once a day, or
once a week. You'll get the Recent Changes report for any changes made since
your last email notification.
== Rename/Move Pages ==
Now you can rename or move a page. This feature was added for bloggers who
replace their /Home page with the current blog entry. If you have a page called
http:///yoursite.editme.com/Page1 and you want to change it to Page2, just click
Rename in the Page group of the Tools menu and follow the instructions.
== New Look! ==
http://www.editme.com has a sharp new look! The Burger Man still frequents the
public wiki (wiki.editme.com), but the company site is cool gray and blue. A new
News & Updates page has been added to keep everyone abreast of the latest
features and enhancements.
== Public Wiki ==
Don't forget to check out the EditMe Public Wiki at http://wiki.editme.com. If
you've customized your stylesheet, care to share tips with other users, or
discovered any cool tools to extend your EditMe site, be sure to list them here.
If you want to get your site indexed by Google and the other search engines,
there's no faster way to do it than entering a link to your site on the EditMe
Sites page.
Thanks for using EditMe.com!
