EditMe provides the best mix of ease-of-use and flexible security tools. By default, sites come with a built-in security infrastructure that provides enough flexibility to support the most commonly used access control configurations while remaining very easy to use and understand. Custom user groups and policies can be employed when specialized access controls are required.

• By default, there are three classes of users: Administrators, Registered Users, and anonymous users.
• These user classes can be given None, Read, or Edit permissions to page content. This provides an extremely flexible and easy-to-use access control framework.
• If that's not enough, custom User Groups and Policies provide an endless number of possible access control configurations. You won't find this flexibility anywhere else.
• Registered Users can sign up on their own, or Administrators can disable this feature and create users with the administration tools.
• Administrators can optionally audit all registrations and provide a list of invited users who can register without an audit.
• Notifications optionally let Administrators know when a new user registers.
• Administrators can email all (or selected) users on the site to notify them of recent updates or news.
• SSL (https), for maximum security, is offered with Standard and better plans for use with editme.com domains. 
• Optionally configurable "Captchas" help to keep spammers off your site.
